Visit Oslo and experience the amazing female ski jumpers

By admin On March 10, 2010No Comments

If you get a chance to visit Oslo, I highly recommend taking the Tbane up to Holmenkollen to walk around the new arena, and enjoy the fantastic view of ski jumpers and Oslofjord.
Anette Sagen is one of the best female ski jumpers of all time. She has also made his mark by a front women jumping – in what has always been a very male-dominated environment.

Anette Sagen is a pioneer in the sport in Norway, and is clearly the right to let her jump first, “jumping national team sports director Clas Brede BrÃ¥then.

Would you like to go on vacation here?
Exotic travel outside main road is no longer reserved for a few extreme persons with special expertise. Organized packages has allowed many to travel extremely.
For example, you can choose to go 1200 kilometres of ski to the South Pole with a heavy sleigh in one of the world’s harshest climates. The participants committed themselves to put on more kilos in advance of the trip to clear the strain. Price: NOK 500.000. (USD 90.000.-)
Alternatively, you can take a trip to Cho Oyo at 8201 meters above sea level. The expedition goes through the so-called death zone.

Third Pole of the Earth

- The money determines your holiday
According to the organizer Hvitserk Eventyreiser has been the steady increase in the number of expedition participants in recent years.

- We have not felt the financial crisis, says CEO Sissel Weng.

Travel Guru Jens A. Risnæs think it’s wrong to talk about trends in extreme tourism.

- Adventure of the population is constant.
What determines whether what we do is how much money we have, “he said. He believes that Norwegians live in the same way as Americans did in the 60-and 70-century.

- Money is freedom and means an infinite amount. Now, most Norwegians travel to the place they dream about. The opportunity we had not before, “says Risnæs.

Incheon International Airport in Seoul has been named the world’s best airport. It shows the results of the survey World Airport Awards conducted by the British company Skytrax.

This is not the first time in years that the airport runs off with such a price. Airports Council International came to the same conclusion earlier this year.

Expensive to be Norwegian on a holiday

By admin On July 30, 2009 No Comments

Do you take holidays abroad this year, has your holiday wallet shrink in comparison to last year? It provides a weaker Norwegian krone for.

Aftenpostens review of the currencies in the Norwegians’ most popular holiday shows that the Norwegian krone has become less valuable in most countries in the last year.
Going to Denmark, one of the euro countries, USA, Bulgaria, Egypt and Thailand this year, it’s been expensive to be Norwegian,
because these currencies have become more valuable in relation to the Norwegian krone.

Broken ATM

In the popular package holidays countries are far more expensive to be a Norwegian this year. Crown is worth 12 percent less this year in countries such as Spain, Greece, Portugal and Italy, compared to last year. This means that over 12.50 million is gone for each one hundred Norwegian patch you use in restaurants and stores, in the last year.

Frognerparken a national monument.
The park is the most visited tourist destination, and has a reputation far beyond the Scandinavian Country.
It has an interesting history that can be traced right back to the Middle Ages.

Frogner Park is an oasis, whether it is spring, summer, autumn or winter.
Appealing is that it offers breathing space in a busy weekday.
Frogner Park is a completely separate mood, monumental and magnificent as it is.
One looks long and free from all directions, and Gustav Vigeland’s sculptures are as fascinating as the sun in rain.
